This is my second sweater I've knit. Athena picked out the pattern and the color of yarn. I love the way it turned out and making it went rather smoothly too. I just hope it still fits in 2 months when it will actually be cool enough to need a sweater!
You may have noticed she also got a haircut recently. She wanted to cut it even shorter but this was our compromise since she needs a ponytail for dance. She said she felt like a freak being the only one in the family with long hair. Hmmm doesn't really sound like one of my kids, they usually try to be the one different person in the room. Hope she hasn't lost that free spirit of hers that I have always loved (and at the same time been aggravated by) about her.
